Tutorial 1 with Bonnard Template – Exercise 2
Step 2
Hide all layers except for L1. Choose a color for the background rectangle. Here we chose a light blue.
Step 3
A palette is created from the blue, range 40. A brown is selected, and layer L2 is filled using the special layer coloring method.
Step 4
Layer L3 and L4 are both filled in succession. First L3 is filled with a pink, chosen from a 10 range from the blue. Then L4 is filled with a slightly lighter color, a light orange, which was a 5 range from the color we just selected.
Step 5
Layer L5 and L6 are filled in succession. L5 with a blue, a 20 range color from the light blue. L6 with another blue, a 5 range color from the color we just used.
Step 6
L7 and L8 are colored in succession. L7 with a purple, and L8 with red-violet. Both are from 20 range palettes from the previously used color on L6.
Step 7
Fill layers L8 and L9. We filled L8 with a light blue, a 10 range from the blue on L6. L9 was filled with a dark blue, a 40 range from the blue on L1.
Step 8
L10 is filled with a red, a 20 range from the dark blue we just used.
Step 9
L11 and L12 are both filled in succession. L11 with a lighter color, a 5 range from the foliage, and L12 with another light color, a 5 range from the previous.
Step 10
L14 is filled with a dark green, a range 40 from a nearby average blue value.
