1. Insert your installation CD. Double click the CD icon on the desktop, and double click the .dmg file inside. If you have downloaded the file, just open it.

2. The contents of the file are displayed. You can view the read-me file and the license agreement. To install the plug-in, you must drag the plug-in folder into the Adobe Photoshop Plug-ins folder as shown. You must be sure you have Photoshop installed first.

3. Open Photoshop.

4. Under the "Photoshop" menu, go to "Preferences", then click "General".

5. Click the "Color Picker" dropdown list. Select the "HVC Color Composer" color picker. This activates it as the color picker for Photoshop. You can always switch back to the default picker, or another one by the same method.

6. You are now ready to use HVC Color Composer. Open the color picker by clicking on one of foreground swatches below.
